Реферат: The adhesive in sheet form consists of a carrier of cellulose, cotton or synthetic fibres contg. polar gps. coated on both sides with a pre-crosslinked or pre-polymerised epoxy or unsatd. polyester resin capable of heat-setting (pref. at 100 degrees-150 degrees C). The wt. of resin is >=4 times that of the carrier. The polyester resin may be modified with diallyl phthalate. The carrier material is pref. a non-woven polyester fabric. If a cotton or viscose carrier is used, the water content should be 5%. Impregnation is by passing through a soln. of the resin in a volatile org. solvent, drying at about 140 degrees - 160 degrees C and rapidly cooling to below the setting temp. of the resin. In use the adhesive sheet is cut shape, placed between the surfaces to be joined, and heat and pressure applied.
