Tap-off section for a feeder bus duct run
Реферат: 1399221 Bus-bar arrangements SQUARE D CO 20 Feb 1973 [28 Feb 1972] 8234/73 Heading H2E For use in a run of electrical feeder bus duct, a tap-off section 10 comprises at least one array of flat bus-bars 11a, 12a, 13a and 14a (and 11b &c.) having their flats parallel and their side edges coplanar and normally separated by distances less than their own thickness but outwardly offset at a central portion so that their spacing exceeds their own thickness. Connector plates 17, 18, 19, 20 each have a wide portion 17a &c. in contact with a flat side of at least one bus-bar, and a narrow off-centre strap portion bent to form a free end portion 17b &c. extending perpendicularly to the contact portion 17a &c. All the free end portions 17b &c extend in the same direction as seen at Fig. 1, 19b and 20b. The free end portions of two plates, e.g. 17b, 196, are disposed on opposite sides of the bus-bars; and that of a third plate, e.g. 20b is disposed on the same side of the bus-bars as that of one of the first two, and spaced from it longitudinally of the bus-bars. Preferably a double four-pole section comprises upper and lower portions 10a, 10b, the flats of bus-bars in the upper portion being coplanar with, and their edges parallel to, the plates and edges respectively of corresponding bus-bars of the lower portion, and connector plates 17-20 each interconnecting one upper and one lower bus-bar. The assembly is completed with metal spacers 22 and insulation members 23, 24 and 26, and fastened with bolts 28 having insulating sleeves (27, Fig. 3, not shown), and secured with spring washers 32 and nuts 30. The length of the free end portion of each connector plate differs according to its position in the assembly, so that all the free edges lie in the same plane parallel to the contact plate portions. Modifications (not shown), include a single or triple run of bus duct, and a three-pole tapoff section.
