Lightweight concrete workpiece mfr. - by granulating cellulosic material with cement and using granules as filler in conditioned concrete
Реферат: An aq. dispersion of a fibrous cellulosic material is treated with a salt, forming substance, pref. lime, to convert soluble components into salts and to prevent fermentation. Then a first portion of a cementitious binder is added; the mixt. is granulated and stored for a time sufficient for binding. The resulting granules (0-20 mm) are added to a second portion of a cement (the same or different than the first portion). Lightweight building elements, such as hollow blocks, reinforced plates, etc. are produced at low cost. The cellulosic material is completely encapsulated within the granules so that it does not affect the binding strength of the aggregate. The material can be nailed and screwed; it is strong and elastic; it has good heat and sound insulating properties.
