Реферат: A water circulation unit for use with swimming pools has a bypass loop which contains a heater element. A self-regulating throttle valve ensures that a constant flow velocity is maintained in the bypass loop. The throttle valve (9) is located in the main flow line, immediately downstream of the 'T' junction containing the connection with the bypass loop. The valve is of the poppet type with a cylindrical body (15) and spring bias (12). The flow path (14) is determined by the main flow pressure acting against the spring and maintains an essentially constant flow rate.
