Реферат: 530,145. Moving signs. EVERY, C. E. (Biolite, Inc.). June 17, 1939, No. 17784. [Class 3 (i)] In signs &c. comprising transparent or translucent elements which contain a liquid of low boiling point caused to bubble by a source of heat, two or more distinguishable and immiscible liquids are provided in each element. The liquids may each be in continuous phase with distinct-lines of separation between, or one or more of them may be in a disperse phase in one of the other liquids. Dyes may be dissolved in the liquids to colour them differently, and examples of dyes which may be used are " du Pont Oil Red " and " du Pont Oil Yellow," these being soluble in benzol or oil. Examples of liquids which may be used are water, alcohol, benzol, ether and acetone. When colourless or similarly coloured liquids are employed they are distinguishable by differences in their refractive indices. The density of any of the liquids may be adjusted by the addition of solvent liquids of the required specific gravity, and their densities may be so nearly equal that the passage of the bubbles causes them to emulsify.
