Реферат: 3295. Bekker, J. J. E., and Harvey, R. Feb. 10. Sugar-cane mills.-The rolls are formed with circumferential corrugations, those of one roll engaging with those of the next. The trash turner o is supported on brackets or rollers r, which rest on the first and third rolls b, c, and on brackets p on the frames a; it is adjusted by packing pieces and notched to engage with the roll b. This construction allows the trash turner to be made narrow and the rolls b, c to be brought close together. The second roll d is placed vertically above the third, and each of its caps is held down by a pair of bolts n. The first roll is placed in front of the second and third, and each of its caps is held up by two pairs of inclined bolts l, which pass through the frame at the sides of the bolts n. The bearings for the roll c are inserted from the side of the frame and are held in place by wedges h, i.
