Реферат: The agglomeration and sticking tendencies of slurries of particulate solids are reduced by adding a conductivity increasing agent to the slurry liquid. The process is applicable to slurries of catalytic or absorptive solids in aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbons, such as occur in processes for separating aromatics from paraffins, or normalfrom iso-paraffins, and in isomerization and cracking processes. Many suitable conductivity increasing agents are specified and the process is exemplified in relation to the removal of benzene from hexane by contact with silica gel in a rotating disc contactor, the agent being a mixture of calcium didecyl sulphosuccinate with the chromium salt of mono- and di-alkyl salicylic acids.
