Integral spare bulb container for halogen work light

A halogen work light (11) with an integral spare bulb container (31) is disclosed. The spare bulb container (31) is attached to the support frame (15) of the halogen work light (11) by welding, for example. The spare bulb container includes a tubular housing (33) and a pair of end pieces (35) that friction fit into the ends of the housing (33). The end pieces include longitudinal holes (43) for receiving the ends of a halogen bulb (45). The end pieces are formed of a soft, resilient material, such as rubber.

Night light

A night light having a base unit with a central cavity designed to house a light sensor, a printed circuit board, a light bulb, and a pair of electrical prongs. Attached to the front surface of the base unit is a fixed half-spherical lens. Disposed over the lens is a rotating, half-spherical cap having an approximately quarter-spherical sized opening that allows a portion of the lens to be exposed so that light from the light bulb located inside the lens may shine therethrough. Thus when the outer cap is selectively rotated around the base unit, the quarter-spherical sized opening is rotated therewith, and a dissipated broad beam of light may be selectively aimed in any 360 degree direction.

Security light with two-piece support

A security light comprising a mercury vapor lamp (13), a two-piece support arm (11), and a mounting bracket (17) is disclosed. The two-piece support arm includes a 90-degree arcuate section (33) and a straight section (35), which are disassemblable for shipping. When assembled, the mounting bracket (17) is located on one end (41) of the 90-degree arcuate section (33). The other end (39) of the 90-degree arcuate section (33) telescopes inside one end (37) of the straight section (35). The mercury vapor lamp (13) is mounted on the other end of the straight section (35).

LED nightlight

A nightlight having a base unit with a central cavity designed to house a light sensor and a printed circuit board. Mounted on the front surface of the base unit is a transversely aligned LED tube. The LED tube is disposed between two struts that extend forward from the front surface of the base unit. Thus, when the outer cap is selectively rotated around the base unit, the quarter-spherical sized opening is rotated therewith, and a dissipated broad beam of light may be selectively aimed in any direction.

A light fixture wireless motion detector conversion kit that includes an electrical box cover plate that houses a wireless receiver unit capable of receiving a sign al from a wireless motion detector. Formed on the front surface of the plate is a center cavity upon which a standard light fixture bracket is attached. During assembly, the cover plate is securely attached to a vertical support surface while the base of a light fixture is attached to the bracket. The wireless receiver unit is electrically connected between an external 120 volt AC electrical circuit and the light fixture's wires. In the preferred embodimen t, the wireless receiver unit includes an optional frequently switch, a mode switch, that allows the user to select different frequencies that matches the frequency used by the motion detector.
