On dispose un châssis de centrage (15) en surface autour d'une excavation (10, 13) ; sur le châssis de centrage (15) on dispose un châssis réglable (16) et on règle la position planimétrique du châssis réglable (16) par rapport au châssis de centrage (15). A centering frame (15) is placed on the surface around an excavation (10, 13); on the centering frame (15) an adjustable frame (16) is placed and the planimetric position of the adjustable frame (16) is adjusted relative to the centering frame (15). Using a crane, a column-pillar (17) is lowered into the excavation and placed on support elements (16c) mounted on the mobile frame, so as to obtain the desired planimetric position of the column-pillar . Then the inclination of the adjustable frame (16) relative to the centering frame (15) is adjusted, so as to obtain the desired orientation of the column-pillar (17).

Methods allowing precise directional drilling are provided. Such methods include use of directional drilling equipment which include a drill string with a hollow bottom rod connected to a boring tool by means of an obtuse-angle connection piece or “bent sub”. In order to restore the verticality of the drilling a vertical borehole section (F) is formed and then a probe equipped with an inclinometer is lowered inside the bottom rod. The string may be rotated into four angular positions and the inclination values of the probe in each angular position are detected at the depth reached. The string is rotated so as to bring it into an angular position corresponding to the maximum inclination value detected. The string is moved so as to move the boring tool further downwards and the inclination of the probe is detected again in order to check that verticality has been reached.

In order to remove polluted soil, modular containers (10) are driven into the soil, each container having a closed upper end, vertical side walls (11-14), a bottom opening (15) and means (18, 25) for causing the closure of the bottom opening. The containers (10) are driven in a grid pattern, being positioned side by side in such a way that the side walls (11-14) of at least one of the containers arc surrounded by side walls of other similar modular containers. The driving process causes the containers to be at least partially filled with polluted soil introduced through the bottom ends (15). The containers which are surrounded by other containers are lifted with their bottom ends closed by the actuation of the closing means, which can include a closable wall (18) and/or a cooling coil (25) for freezing the polluted soil held in the bottom part of the container.

La macchina comprende un telaio (10) orizzontale montato su un carro cingolato (20) e provvisto di pistoni idraulici (19) con piedi stabilizzatori, due gruppi idraulici di potenza per azionare due gruppi rotativi di lavoro (26) e servizi ausiliari di movimento e posizionamento. I gruppi di lavoro (26) scorrono lungo guide longitudinali (25) montate sugli estremi superiori di bracci telescopici (11) aventi gli estremi inferiori montati su ralle (15). Queste sono disposte vicino agli estremi anteriore e posteriore del telaio (10), e sono verticalmente scorrevoli e girevoli intorno ad assi (x) paralleli alla direzione longitudinale della macchina. Il telaio piano (10) è girevole (18) in un piano orizzontale rispetto al carro cingolato (20) che lo sostiene. A pistoni (19) estesi, il carro cingolato (20) può essere sollevato e ruotato trasversalmente per spostamenti laterali in galleria. Ciascuna ralla (15) è scorrevole lungo una rispettiva guida verticale (30) solidale ad un rispettivo supporto (13) a sua volta sopportato dal telaio (10) e verticalmente scorrevole rispetto ad esso per spostare le ralle tra una posizione inferiore al telaio (10) ed una superiore.

Il dispositivo comprende: - almeno un elemento tubolare portante (13); - un doppio circuito fluidodinamico (39, 40) di azionamento di almeno un pistone fluidodinamico (15) a doppio effetto scorrevole all'interno di un rispettivo cilindro (28) solidale a detto elemento tubolare (13); - supporti mobili (26) saldamente ancorati a detto elemento elasticamente dilatabile (12), collegati al pistone (15); - supporti fissi (25), saldamente ancorati (15) detto elemento elasticamente dilatabile (12), bloccati su detto elemento tubolare (13).Il pistone (15) e i supporti mobili (26) sono suscettibili di essere mossi tra due posizioni limite: la prima, a pistone completamente esteso, di massima compressione assiale e dilatazione trasversale dell'elemento elastico (12) in aderenza alle pareti del foro; la seconda, a pistone completamente retratto, in cui l'elemento (12) è teso in senso assiale e ha dimensione trasversale tale da staccarsi dalle pareti del foro.
