Tensioning device

The invention relates to a device for lashing straps, having a drive shaft which can be set in rotation by means of a pivoting lever and which is intended for winding a lashing strap. Connected fixedly in terms of rotation to this drive shaft is a ratchet wheel having blocking teeth. Moreover, a pivoting lever with a take-up element for the ratchet wheel is provided. This take-up element is mounted displaceably counter to the effect of a return element. Furthermore, the tensioning device has a control cam for transferring a blocking mechanism assigned to the ratchet wheel into an inactive position. The blocking teeth are arranged directionally oriented so that, when the pivoting lever is actuated in the direction of a working stroke, they are driven by the take-up element.
