A detection tool for a perforated PCB comprises an inner cabinet (2). A tray (3) is provided above the inner cabinet (2). Protruding PCB fixing supports (311) and four side pogo pin supports (312) are provided at the tray (3). The PCB fixing supports (311) are positioned at inner sides of the four side pogo pin supports (312). The tray (3) has sliding slots (310) at which the side pogo pin supports (312) slidably engage. The sliding slots (310) are arranged at perpendicular center-bisectors. The side pogo pin support (312) contains a pogo pin (315). The pogo pin (315) is elastic. Since plated half-holes are exposed at four perforated edges, the horizontally arranged elastic pogo pins can contact the plated half-holes to transmit signals. The invention is compatible with perforated PCBs having different dimensions.
