[Solution] A film-shaped dentifrice produced by mixing a water-soluble edible polymer with a foaming detergent component and forming the obtained mixture into a film, characterized in that many fine spherical voids are present in the dentifrice with the total volume of the voids accounting for 20 to 60% of the whole volume of the film-shaped dentifrice; and a continuous-form film-shaped dentifrice which comprises both a substrate sheet consisting of a long synthetic resin film and a long dentifrice film disposed on the surface of the substrate sheet, characterized in that: the long dentifrice film is a film-shaped dentifrice described above; and cutoff parts for cutting the long dentifrice film are provided in prescribed positions of the long dentifrice film.
