Provided is a weighing device configured so that water and dust are less likely to reach a sensor section, so that, even if water reaches the position of the sensor section, the water can be easily discharged, and so that the sensor section can be easily maintained by, for example, washing with water. An electronic weighing scale (10A) is provided with a weighing tray (30) on which an object to be weighed is placed, a load cell (20) which measures a load applied to the weighing tray (30), and a weighing scale body case (12) which supports the load cell (20). The load cell (20) is disposed outside and above the weighing scale body case (12). A cylindrical transparent cover (36) which covers the entire side surface of the load cell (20) is integrally provided to the weighing tray (12). The lower end of the transparent cover (36) is disposed above the upper surface (12a) of the weighing scale body case (12) with a clearance (51) provided therebetween.
