A crankshaft (20) is provided with at least one crank part (41a, 41b, 41c) provided to a shaft part (40). The crank part is configured of a crank piece (65) different from that of the shaft part. The crank piece has a fitting hole (72) into which the shaft part is fitted with a prescribed "fastening margin" therebetween, and has a slit-shaped slot (73) that extends in the radial direction of the fitting hole such that one end thereof is opened to the inner peripheral surface of the fitting hole and the other end is closed inside the crank piece. The fitting hole is deformed so as to expand the diameter thereof by increasing the width of the slot, and the shaft part is inserted into the deformed fitting hole, whereas the shaft part is fitted into the fitting hole with the prescribed "fastening margin" therebetween by restoring the fitting hole to the original shape while the shaft part is inserted in the fitting hole.
