A rotating electrical machine according to the present invention is provided with: a rotor core having electromagnetic steel sheets laminated in the axial direction; a stator core having electromagnetic steel sheets laminated in the axial direction; magnets inserted into each of a plurality of through holes penetrating the rotor core in the axial direction and arranged at intervals in the circumferential direction; and a magnetic body end plate which is in contact with one or both of the end surface on one side in the axial direction and the end surface on the other side in the axial direction of the rotor core, and which has a single magnetic body plate or a plurality of magnetic body plates stacked in the axial direction.
