The method comprises providing a first sleeve (11) from a first metallic material and a second sleeve (12) from a second metallic material, arranging the first and second sleeves into one another such that a sleeve combination (10) forms a press fit between the sleeves, and forming the sleeve combination at an increased temperature by extrusion. The step of forming the sleeve combination is carried out at a temperature of a tool and the sleeve combination of 300-500[deg] C. The first sleeve is arranged in the second sleeve. The second sleeve or a third sleeve (13) is arranged in the first sleeve. The method comprises providing a first sleeve (11) from a first metallic material and a second sleeve (12) from a second metallic material, arranging the first sleeve and the second sleeve into one another such that a sleeve combination (10) forms a press fit between the sleeves, and forming the sleeve combination at an increased temperature by extrusion. The step of forming the sleeve combination is carried out at a temperature of a tool and the sleeve combination of 300-500[deg] C. The first sleeve is arranged in the second sleeve. The second sleeve or a third sleeve (13) is arranged in the first sleeve. The first sleeve and the second sleeve are first etched and subsequently dried prior to the arranging step. An outer diameter of a formed semifinished part is less than 55% of an outer diameter (Da1) of the sleeve combination prior to the extrusion. A total wall thickness of the formed semifinished part is less than 20% of a total wall thickness of the sleeve combination prior to the extrusion. An independent claim is included for a method for producing an implant.
