Novel textile finishing compositions for finishing textile articles are provided via the present invention. The textile finishing compositions disclosed herein comprise a cross-linking agent and a catalytic amount of an esterification agent. The cross-linking agents employed herein are selected from polycarboxylates such as homopolymers of ethylenically-α,β-unsaturated dicarboxylates, copolymers of all ethylenically-α,β-unsaturated dicarboxylates, and copolymers of ethylenically-α,β-unsaturated dicarboxylates polymerized with vinyl-containing monomers. Also provided via the present invention are methods for applying the aforementioned finishing compositions to textile articles.

This invention relates to novel whitening agents for cellulosic substrates. The whitening agents are comprised of at least two components: at least one chromophore component and at least one polymeric component. Suitable chromophore components generally fluoresce blue, red, violet, or purple color when exposed to ultraviolet light, or they may absorb light to reflect these same shades. The whitening agents are further characterized by having a dispersion component value of the Hansen Solubility Parameter of less than or equal to about 17 MPa 0.5 . The present invention relates to a block polymeric material. This invention relates to novel whitening agents for cellulosic substrates. The whitening agents are comprised of at least two components: at least one chromophore component and at least one polymeric component. Suitable chromophore components generally fluoresce blue, red, violet, or purple color when exposed to ultraviolet light, or they may absorb light to reflect these same shades. The whitening agents are further characterized by having a dispersion component value of the Hansen Solubility Parameter of less than or equal to about 17 MPa 0.5 . Described herein is a household care composition, which delivers active agents onto fabric or hard surfaces, in the form of a water-soluble unit dose article comprising a dissolvable fibrous web and one or more particles, as well as methods for making the same. 1. A water-soluble unit dose article comprising a water-soluble unit dose article comprising a water-soluble fibrous structure comprising fibrous elements and a plurality of particles distributed throughout the structure , wherein the Dilation Ratio of the water-soluble unit dose article is in the range of about 2 to 4 , preferably from about 2.2 to 3.0 , more preferably from about 2.3 to 2.7 , as measured according to the Dilation Ratio Test Method.2. The water-soluble unit dose article according to wherein the Dilation Ratio is less than about 4 claim 1 , preferably less than about 3.0 claim 1 , more preferably less than about 2.7 as measured according to the Dilation Ratio Test Method.3. The water-soluble unit dose article according to wherein said particles have a D50 particle size of from about 150 μm to about 1600 μm as measured according to the Granular Size Distribution Test Method.4.
