Methods that include detecting cables connected to telecommunications network equipment are provided herein. In particular, a method that includes detecting connections of respective cables to ports of telecommunications network equipment may be performed using image recognition. Moreover, in some embodiments, the method may include detecting, using image recognition, respective positions of the ports. Related systems are also provided. 1. A method of configuring a radio frequency (RF) switch , the method comprising:detecting, using image recognition, connections of cables to respective ports of an antenna;assigning the ports of the antenna to the RF switch, in response to the detecting; andtesting the antenna, using the RF switch.2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the testing comprises return loss testing claim 1 , isolation testing claim 1 , and radiation pattern testing.3. The method of claim 1 , further comprising transmitting data regarding the connections of the cables from a first electronic device to a second electronic device claim 1 , in response to the detecting.4. An interior rearview mirror assembly for a vehicle comprises a mirror element and a mirror case having a top surface, a bottom surface, a side surface and a back surface enveloping an interior space. A lamp comprising a light source is positioned and fixedly held preferably in a compartment in the interior space, the light source emitting light when electrically operated. At least one opening is provided in a surface of the mirror case in order to dissipate heat generated by the light source when electrically operated. A light opening is provided in the bottom surface of the mirror case for passing light out of the mirror case into a passenger compartment of a vehicle when the mirror assembly is mounted therein. The light opening in the bottom surface of the mirror case includes a lens positioned therein that directs light emitted by the light source into the passenger compartment of the vehicle; the direction of the light out of the mirror case and into the passenger compartment being non-adjustable with respect to the mirror case. The lens is received by and secures to the mirror case at the light opening and preferably is recessed into the bottom surface of the mirror case.

A plate for attaching an accessory to a panel such as a vehicle interior headliner including a molded polymeric frame having a dimension adapted to lie adjacent and span at least one opening formed in a panel to receive the accessory. At least one clamp, pivotally coupled to the frame, is adapted to be actuated from the same side of the panel on which the frame is mounted. The clamp swings through the panel opening and engages the opposite panel surface, locking the frame adjacent the panel opening. The frame includes bosses to receive fasteners attaching an accessory such as a vehicle light. In the alternative, the frame receives a conductive bracket for receiving a light bulb or other accessory, thereby acting as the accessory itself.
