The trip blade portion can deflect to accommodate obstacles, and can cooperate with the linear movement of the surface-engaging sections to accommodate larger obstacles than can be accommodated by deflection alone. The arrangement is such that during a plowing operation, the wing plow supported by the support arm moves smoothly over the material being moved so that a potentially dangerous diving of the wing plow into the material in a vicinity of the support arm is avoided.

The footies can have flared or curved-up edges so that they can glide over the artificial turf surface instead of digging in or otherwise damaging the surface. In other embodiments, the system is used without footies. A means of attaching the device to various snowplows is described as is a recommended method of using the system to remove snow from a surface. It is to be understood that the system can be used on other, relatively fragile surfaces in addition to artificial turf.

The present invention provides a tractor which includes a body frame configured such that a front portion thereof adjacent to a front wheel axle is at a raised position to prevent interference with front wheels, and a medial portion thereof is depressed so that an engine can be located in the medial portion. Thereby, the front wheels can be turned to maximum angles without being impeded by the front wheel axle, and a driver cab provided with a driver seat can be located above an area where the engine is disposed. 1. A tractor , comprising a body frame configured such that a front portion thereof adjacent to a front wheel axle is at a raised position to prevent interference with front wheels , and a medial portion thereof is depressed so that an engine can be located in the medial portion.2. The tractor according to claim 1 , wherein a differential device claim 1 , a front wheel propulsion shaft and a rear wheel propulsion shaft are located at positions displaced to one side from a central portion of the body frame claim 1 , and an engine is disposed at the other side of the body frame where the differential device claim 1 , the front wheel propulsion shaft and the rear wheel propulsion shaft are not located.3. The tractor according to claim 2 , wherein a driver cab provided with a driver seat is disposed above an area where the engine is disposed.4. A snow plow system for an automobile features a frame connectable to a hitch receiver, a blade movable by an electrically powered actuator between a lowered snow-clearing position a raised transport position, a power unit placed within a trunk space of the automobile, a power connection line between the power unit and the actuator, and a wireless remote operable from a passenger cabin of the automobile. The power connection line traverses through a gasket sealed space between the trunk lid and trunk walls, thereby powering the device without any modification to the automobile. A flexible member connected between the actuator and the blade is operable to raise and lower the blade in a controlled manner under operation of the actuator, while allowing the blade to momentarily trip over ground level obstructions during use. A biasing mechanism forces the blade back into the snow-clearing position once the obstruction is cleared.
