However, such doors require stiffening in the form of wind bars to prevent the doors blowing out in gusts of wind. Window and door screen for seamless, easy repairs

A window screen that allows for the easy fix of a torn screen. The screen is similar to contemporary window screens. However, this screen contains a grid of squares that can be between 4×4 inches and 8×8 inches in size. The border of each square is a solid fiberglass material which can be 0.5 to 1.0 inch in width. Inside of each square is standard window screen mesh. In the event of a tear, the mesh within the borders of the squares can be cut out. Then, a replacement patch which is the same shape of the removed area can be adhered in place. The patch should be cut so that it contains the surrounding fiberglass border. The border of the patch will be adhered to the window screen so that the borders of the patch overlap the borders on the screen making for a seamless repair.

Presented is a gudgeon assembly that includes a gudgeon body, a first ball bearing, a second ball bearing, a gudgeon pin, a first spring plate, a second spring plate, and two springs. The gudgeon pin extends through the gudgeon body and is coaxial with the first and second ball bearings. The first spring plate is coupled to a distal portion of the gudgeon pin. The second spring plate defines an opening and is coupled to the second ball bearing. The opening is coaxial with the second ball bearing and the gudgeon pin. A rigid mesh exhibits a generally rectangular outline which generally matches the arrangement of the elongated supports, an aperture pattern defined in the mesh permitting the projecting portions of the fasteners to extend through the mesh to retain the mesh over the forwardly projecting support surfaces. The covering has a flexible material with perimeter defined apertures for receiving the projecting fastener portions to affix the material against an exterior surface of the mesh in engagement with the perimeter extending supports and to extend over the intake opening.

Design requirements include thermal insulation, structural resistance to lateral loads, such as pressure induced by wind, and security requirements.Existing overhead door designs are classified, in U.S. patent Ser.
