The invention refers to a procedure for the production of filler rods to copper basis, which exhibit an improved layer. The purity of the filler rod surface affects the quality of fusion welding connections in appropriate measure. This connection was recognized already with welds according to the gas fusion welding method and represents with the gas-schielded arc welding of non-ferrous metals an important problem. Traces of oxides, fat, dirt and other foreign matter on the Sehweii wire surface can disturb and to the formation of slag inclusions, pores and piping in the welding material and thus to the reduction of the mechanical properties lead the welding procedure. To the meaning of the surface quality of welding filler metals, in particular of I0 wire electrodes, the regulations in the international standards refer over cleaning, condition of the surface, packing and storage. In order a metallically pure surface with small inclination to the Nachoxydierung too received, filler rods were already provided with layers from nickel or silver. The application of these layers took place in each case after the figuration of the wire in separate processing steps. The costs caused thereby were dl6 a cause for it that the Oberflächenvergütung of filler rods did not become generally accepted so far. Also the covering of the surface of filler rods with tin was already described. GB-PS Nr.i, 398.404 reveals so covered filler rods, with which a relatively thick coat is necessary, since by this in the welding material an alloying up with tin is to be achieved. For the creation separate process step is necessary, whereby bath tinning, electrolytic applying and evaporating are mentioned. It concerns a complex procedure course, it is not only in each case also only pure metals, not however alloys so applyable. The invention proceeds from the realization that a set from alloys stands to the order, which with filler rods causes a chemically changed layer, if they are applied under conditions by temperature and pressure, as they are anyhow given with pulling the wires. The invention makes thus the surface refinement possible of filler rods without additional processing step, as it is suggested that with pulling the filler rods a lubricant is used, the 10 to 25 Gew. - % of a lowmelting, the layer of forming metallic powder contains. Such applying of the protective layer by pulling has the special advantage that the surface is coldly solidified, and from there possesses good sliding qualities. As particularly favorable has itself an alloy from 80 to 98 Gew. - % tin, remainder silver, put out, which already causes a chemically changed layer of the filler rod, which reduces the Oxydationsnefgung of the filler rod substantially with brief pressing on under the drawing printing and a heating up on for instance 50°C. Details of the procedure according to invention are stated afterwards on the basis an example. Example: The procedure according to invention was applied to the production from three filler rod types to ÖNORM M 7825 with the composition S-CuSn - Sn 0.5 to 1.0, Mn 0, i to 0.5, SI 0, I to 0.5, cu remainder of SL-GuSnI2 - Sn 12.0 to 14.0, SI O, 1 to 0.5, P 0.01 to 0.05, Gu remainder of S-CuAI9Fe - Al 8.0 to 10.0, Fe 1.0 to 4.5, Ni 0 to 1.0, cu remainder. In order to manage the effect of the surface refinement during the drawing wire, a metal craving with 97,5% Sn, 2.5% AG in oxide-free manufactured powder with a granulation of to I0 p the common lubricant, became a 5% metal soap water emulsion in a quantity of 15 Gew. - % mixed. Pulling the filler rods which can be improved was accomplished in the usual kind. The metallpulverhaltige lubricant was used only with the last course. The wire manufacturing was locked by pickling, arranging, cuts and cleaning. 3 - Nr.3632 during the filler rod with the metallic powder film by the Ziehdüse is pulled, becomes free with pressure and deformation work warmth, which releases the surface refinement and by puts erungsund diffusion effect strengthens. Filler rods from copper, copper tin and copper aluminum accept an enrichment of Zinnund silver elements at the surface, whereby the oxidation inclination is decreased. The wire surface shows, a mechanically smoothed and coloured changed layer pure by the treatment with the metallic powder, which possesses the desired higher approach stability. Filler rods, which are manufactured in the procedure according to invention, do not show disturbances with the welding procedure and even with longer storage no oxidation. In addition it showed up that the surface treated with the tin silver powder slides better, which is also recognized with the wire feed motion of the MIG-Schwei1 method as an important improvement. PATENT CLAIMS “1. marked procedures for the production of filler rods on copper basis, which it exhibits an improved Oberflächenschieht by it that with pulling the filler rods a lubricant is used, the 10 to 25 Gew. - % of a niedrigsehmelzenden, the Oberflächenschieht of forming metallic powder contains. 2. Procedure according to requirement 1, by characterized that the fine-grained and oxide-free metallic powder from an alloy with 80 to 98 Gew. - % tin and 20 to 2 Gew. - % silver exists. Pressure: Ing.E.Voytjech, Vienna
