The invention concerns a key with storing indicator for the last operation direction in the lock and a beard exhibiting shank part, which with seize-hurry the key is swivelling connected. This task is solved according to invention thereby that the shank part and seize-hurry by a screw mounting are connected, whereby the part is unverdrehbar fastened to the screw mounting, against what other equipped with in the thread of the screw mounting intervening an internal thread and between two compression areas from each other arranged in an axial distance is rotable. In favourable way it is reached by this arrangement that for the actual indicator relatively few construction units are needed, which results in the further advantage of a economical manufacturing. In the remark example the arrangement is so met that the shank part is firmly connected with the screw mounting by a distance piece and seize-hurry between the distance piece and a piece of locking arranged at the end of the screw mounting trailblazing of the shank part rotably and is axially adjustable.
