BACK BELT
The present invention relates to a lumbar support belt. A lumbar support belt is a belt made of a medical elastic textile material, which acts to realize in the subject which the door-maintain lumbar region as well as the abdominal region. Wearing a lumbar belt intended to carry out a reminder posture to alleviate and rehabilitate a subject suffering from acute or chronic low back pain. The return posture is obtained by the nervousness of the textile as well as by rods. These ribs, which are especially steel spring, are bent to conform to the shape of the portion of the human body, in this case the lower torso. Current lumbar belts provide generally satisfactory, however on at least one point, they are not totally. Indeed, current belts must by necessity be set up according to the same orientation relative to the patient, the slight concavity of the underwire to impinge follow the concavity of the lumbar region. The invention aims to remedy this disadvantage and an aim to provide a lumbar support belt which is reversible. The essence of the invention, a lumbar support belt that can be placed on a patient comprising According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the return means are constituted by a posture and lettering concaved removable attachable indifferently on one side of the belt. To provide a resilient return force the back piece consists of a textile panel reinforced with at least one stiffener. So prefers, the back piece comprises four stiffeners metal thereby ensuring an excellent return posture. In a first attachment option lettering, each side of the posterior portion is equipped with strips of hook and the back piece is equipped with strips of Velcro can attach to indifferently on one side of the posterior portion. In a second attachment option lettering, the posterior portion has a center pocket wherein the back piece may be slid with its concavity oriented indifferently toward one side of the posterior portion. In one implementation of the belt according to the invention, the anterior portion is removable from the posterior part and can be fixed to either of the ends of the posterior portion. For its good understanding, the invention is described with reference to the accompanying drawing appended representing, by way of non-limiting example, various embodiments of lumbar belt according thereto. Figure 1 and 2 represent a first embodiment of a belt according to the invention in two configurations, Fig. 3 shows one embodiment return means posture, Figure 4 and 5 show a second embodiment of a belt in two configurations, Figure 6 and 7 show a third embodiment of a belt according to the invention in two configurations. By referring to the drawing, it is appreciated that the belt 1 is constituted by a rear part 2 which can cover the lumbar region of a patient and an anterior portion 3 which can cover the abdominal region of the patient. In the example illustrated in Figures 1 and 2, the belt 1 can be used as means for sealing strips of hook and loop fabric which are, respectively, sewn on the end of the back portion and on the end of the anterior portion. The particularity of this belt is that its return means are constituted by a posture bib 4 removable, indifferently, placed on one side of the rear part 2 of the belt of the belt. Thus, the belt is truly reversible,It is only necessary to remove the back piece 4 removable from one side of the rear part 2 for into position on the opposite side. The back piece 4 may consists of a textile panel 5 with four ribs 6 metal, each of the ribs 6 having a concavity adapted to the curve of the lumbar region. With this arrangement, may be provided for each of the faces of the belt textiles of different nature and therefore having great comfort or specific aspect. The attachment of the bib 4 can be performed using a textile Velcro hook and loop fastener which is attached on the back and on each side of the posterior portion of the girdle. The second embodiment of the invention depicted in Figures 4 and 5 helps to correct possible defect of the reversible belt according to the first embodiment described above. Indeed, when the lumbar belt changes configuration, in other words when the back piece is positioned from one face to the other face of the belt, the closure of the anterior portion changes the sides for the patient. Gold, for a patient with low back pain, the fact not to use his hand preferential, generally that of right, can aggravate pains. It is for this purpose that, in a second embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the anterior portion of the belt is removable to permit itself, according to the face that is caused to be in contact the patient, it can always choose a configuration of the belt which a 88 tightening with his hand preferential. As viewed in Figures 6 and 7, it is also contemplated that the rear part 2 has one central 7 wherein the back piece 4 can be slid with its concavity oriented indifferently toward one side of the rear part 2. Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiment described above, but in the contrary embraces all embodiments. The belt has a posterior part (2) covering a lumbar region of a patient, and an anterior part (3) covering an abdominal region of the patient, where the parts have complementary closing units. A spring unit is detachable and installed in the posterior part, such that its concavity is oriented indifferently towards one of the sides of the posterior part. A patch (4) of the spring unit has a panel equipped of metallic whalebones. Lumbar support belt that can be fitted to a patient, comprising
- a posterior part (2) able to cover the lumbar region of a patient, provided with elastic posture correcting means having a concavity, and- an anterior part (3) able to cover the abdominal region of the patient, the posterior part and the anterior part each having complementary closure means at their ends, characterized in that the posture correcting means consist of a removable concave back piece (4) that can be fixed to either surface of the belt, each surface of the posterior part (2) is provided with gripping textile strips and the back piece (4) is provided with gripping textile strips that can be fixed on either surface of the posterior part (2). Lumbar support belt according to Claim 1, characterized in that the back piece (4) consists of a textile panel (5) reinforced with at least one stiffener (6). Lumbar support belt according to Claim 2, characterized in that the back piece comprises four stiffeners (6). Lumbar support belt according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the anterior part (3) can be removed from the posterior part (2) and can be fixed to either end of the posterior part.
