Port, especially for electrical switch
FRENCH REPUBLIC SERVICE iNTELLECTUAL INDUSTRIELLE of the On PROBLEMS PATENT P.V. no. 138,644 [...] 1.555.019 [...]. Internet.:01 r // B 60 q H; H 01,11 Society said: ROBERT BOSCH [...]. B.H. residing in Administration in Germany. Demanded 5 February 1968,46 11 to 13m, to Paris. [...][...] 1 1 ^ The present invention relates to a device connection, particularly applicable to a- [...] electrical engine and consisting of a metal strip through a plate of insulating material and which one end is supported by a shoulder on the plate of insulating material, while the other end, projecting at the top of the plate insulating material, is deformable by crushing for fastening a connecting wire engaged in a perpendicular hole, the metal strip being blocked in the plate inseparably insulating material after the crushing operation. For a known metal strip of this type, adhering said web is also performed by deforming an end portion of the metal strip which exceeds a plate made from insulating. This embodiment has however a drawback that, upon application a force to the deformable end portion of the metal strip, much of the force developed is transmitted laterally to a hole transverse cut into the metal of the web- jority which is held in the plate material insulating. Is applied force is thus undesirable, laterally oriented, on the plate material instead of using fully insulating the force for the deformation of the deformable end of the metal strip. The aim of the invention is to avoid this drawback and concerns a device for connection, in particular for electrical switch, device consisting of a metal strip moving through a plate of insulating material and having one end is supported by a shoulder on the plate in ma- insulating containing, while the other end of the web, exceeding the plate of insulating material, is crushable for attachment a bond wire engaged in a hole [...] - [...], the metal strip being inseparably locked in the plate of insulating material after the crushing operation, device characterized in that the metal strip has, in its outlet region-side connection of the plate of insulating material, a notch or groove in each of its two narrow sides, in order to avoid damage to the plate of insulating material. Is prevented, in a simple manner, damage to the insulating plate in forming a metal strip of known type. The invention extends, also, to the characteristics resulting from the following description and of the accompanying drawings, as well as their possible combinations. The following description pertains to the accompanying drawings representing an exemplary embodiment of the invention, in which drawings: Figure 1 is a longitudinal sectional view of a contactor lighting code for motor vehicles, foot operated and provided with a metal strip deformed by crushing; Figure 2 is a view of a metal strip made to the magnified scale in the direction of arrow II-II of Figure 1 but, however, prior to deformation; Figure 3 is a view of a metal strip deformed, in the direction of arrow II of Figure 1, but to larger scale than Figure 1; Figure 4 is a cut made along the line IV-IV of Figure 3. The contactor lighting code represented in Figure 1 has a housing of metal 10 in the form of a sleeve and provided with two side lips fixing 11. A cap 12 arranged in push-button surrounds with slight play one of the end portions of the housing and is attached to 1° connection device, in particular for electrical switch, device consisting of a metal strip moving through a plate of insulating material and which is supported with its one end by a shoulder on the plate of insulating material, while the other end of the band, exceeding the plate of insulating material, is deformable by crushing, for fastening a connecting wire engaged in a hole perpendicular, the metal strip being held, non-movably, in the plate of insulating material after the crushing operation, device characterized in that the metal strip has, in its outlet region-side connection of the plate of insulating material, a notch or groove in each ' of its two narrow sides, in order to avoid damage to the plate of insulating material; 2° The width of the metal strip between the two cuts is at most equal to the diameter of the transverse hole; 3° Electric switch equipped with a connection device as described or similar to the former.
