Purifiers.-Relates to a modified form of Weck centre-valve, as described in Specifications 2878/82, 5910/03, and 11,091/07, and consists in dispensing with the top hoods so that each valve acts on one seat only. The valve box shown is for four gas-holders or the like. The usual false bottom 11 separates the valves connecting with the main inlet 14 from those connecting with the main outlet 15. Gas entering at 14 passes through the space below the false bottom to one or more of the gas-holders in parallel, back to the space above the false bottom, and to the outlet 15.
