INKJET RECORDING DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR AND PROGRAM
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time differences occurring due to recording time differences when images are recorded by a multipass recording method in a large inkjet recording device. SOLUTION: A CPU writes image data for one band in a band memory (step S401). The CPU reads all image data for one band from the band memory (Step S402). The CPU determines the recording width of the image data read and decides whether a density difference will occur from a recording width determination table (Step S403). When the device determines that no density difference will occur, an even number pass count is set as a recording pass count of a multipass recording method (Step S404). When it is judged that a density difference will occur, an odd number pass count is set by adding +1 to the even number pass count as a recording pass count (Step S414). The CPU 201 performs thinning for multipass recording in accordance with the recording pass count determined (Step S405). COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
