PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply unit preventing a thermal adverse effect in a charging section without causing cost increase, when the charging section and other substrates are provided in the same space.

SOLUTION: The power supply unit 1000 includes the charging section 100A and a charge/discharge switching section 100B inside, and is detachably mounted on electric equipment requiring power supply. The power supply unit has a constitution 110A separately arranging space for housing the charging section 100A and the charge/discharge switching section 100B from the location to mount a controlling substrate 100C for the charge/discharge switching section 100B without any communication with the space. The space has a temperature control structure 1001 inside the unit using a fan 101 for forcibly taking outside air to cool the inside.
