Reciprocating water pump

[1]

The present invention relates to a reciprocating water pump utility especially for the household and irrigation in the rural areas.

[2]

Exist which pumps the domestic and rural but these chambers have major drawbacks related to the corrosiveness of materials used and at very high cost. Pumps drilling, they require large diameters which makes their use fee and the presence of skilled shortages.

[3]

The pump of the present invention aims to bearing these drawbacks. It facilitates and increases productivity of users in their offering a hand pump high capacity serving in ' water from wells, rivers, and backwaters of small boreholes with greater reliability and easy maintenance.

[4]

The pump, object of the present invention comprises a cylinder (1), a piston (3), (7) a soda fountain, a linkage (4) controlled by a handle (9). It is characterized essentially by a reciprocating motion of the piston (3) in the cylinder (1) while the cylinder is in a fixed position with respect to the well or drilling more particularly for shafts or small diameter drill as well as for delivering highly placed in reservoirs.

[5]

It is also for conveying water over flat at great distances.

[6]

In one particular embodiment, the pump may be a pump on table top or wheelbarrow for small market well, for small boreholes and for discharging surface water from rivers, backwaters of the jobs as well as for breeding.

[7]

The present invention and both embodiments would be better understood on the illustrations in Figures appended:

[8]

Figure 1 represents the pump on well or drilling to deep depths.

[9]

Figure 2 represents the pump on well for the small boreholes.

[10]

Figure 3 represents the details of the fountain and its support (14). This support allows maintenance work of the fountain without touching the cylinder and vice versa.

[11]

Figure 4 represents the cylinder (1) and the piston (3) to which is connected the rod (4) of the linkage;

[12]

Figure 5 represents the detail of the foot valve (16) and the filter.

[13]

Figure 6 represents the detail of the piston

[14]

Figure 7 represents the drainage pipe (2), the union (5) the mode of binding of the rod (4) to form a linkage actuates the piston.

[15]

Figure 8 represents the modified pump on wheelbarrow

[16]

Figure 9 represents the modified pump table.

[17]

Figure 10 represents the cylinder and the piston pump of two variants.

[18]

With reference to these drawings, the pump operates by moving the handle (9) which is fixed on a base plate (11) and which acts on both flat bars (10) on which is fixed a tee (17) for holding the stainless rod (12) which is bonded on the first rod of the linkage (4). This linkage is copper and transmits the movement directly on the piston (3) in the cylinder (1) when submerged in water. This movement allows the aspiration and discharge of water through the fountain (7). This fountain in galvanized pipes of 63 mm diameter is steerable to the left or right. It is welded to an upper plate (20) sheet adhered thereto a seal (15) for securing work can on the seat (13 using bolts. Discharged water and rejected through the overflow pipe (8) in 33 mm diameter galvanized. The weir (8) is welded to the fountain (7). The bottom plate (14) sheet of 16 cm2 a plate-sleeve (21) galvanized is the carrier of the piping of the pump on which the pipes are clamped together.

[19]

The cylinder (1) PVC of 63 mm diameter is glued on one side a tip a PVC threaded to receive the check valve (16) and the legs on the other side of a union (5) PVC for connecting the pipes (2) of the mine. For the variants of horizontal roller pump or pump wheelbarrow or pump table, the joining of pipes of mine drainage is conducted from the suction pipes (32) and allows the discharge through the pipe (33) of more than 5.000 liters of water per hour around the grounds flat up to a distance of 100 meters while the cylinder vertical pumps discharge the water to a height of more than 10 meters with a flow rate of 1.000 to 1.500 liters per hour. On the pumps to vertical cylinder, this cylinder is always immersed while on the pumps to table or wheelbarrow, the cylinder is never submerged.

[20]

The aluminum piston (3) consists of a valve (18) leather, a cup (22) leather treated also for the circumstance, a plate riveted aluminum (23). The piston (3) is pierced with a hole for the passage of water which is fastened the valve (18) leather treated using the riveted aluminum. For the pumps to horizontal cylinder, the piston is made of stainless metal plate riveted aluminum free.

[21]

The leather used is specially treated to allow it to resist correctly in water.

[22]

The foot valve (16) is made of aluminum, it is composed of a disk (28) aluminum, a seal (26), of valve (25), (27) a strainer made of PVC pipes perforated for water filtration. This strainer is riveted on the disk (28). The washers (29) and (30) screws serve to hold the aluminum disk.

[23]

(4) The linkage consists of solid rods copper of a length of 3 meters each at whose ends are welded nuts and screws (31). It is immersed in a piping "a PVC pressure" of 06 mm in thickness at the end of which are glued to their nuts (5) that allow connection of pipes from one another depending on the depth of the well or boring.

[24]

In general, the pumping of water occurs in two (2) time:

[25]

A first time by suction by moving the handle (9) position rising to lower the linkage (4), the piston (3) moves down, the piston valve (18) opens, the cylinder (1) is filled with water and the flap valve (25) is closed.

[26]

A second time by the upset by moving the handle (9) in position descent, raise the linkage (4), the piston (3) rises, the piston valve (18) closes water rise in column (2) drainage valve and the foot valve (25) opens by allowing water into the cylinder (1).

[27]

The pump according to the invention is very simple and reliable. It is self priming and is designed to be installed and maintained by all villagers. It does not form a highly qualified labor.
