Electrical connector and shell thereof
An electrical connector includes an insulative housing, a plurality of terminals retained in the insulative housing, and a shell enclosing the insulative housing. The shell has a bottom wall defining a first through hole and a side wall bent upwardly from the bottom wall. The side wall defines a second through hole extending from the first through hole. The bottom wall further includes a first mounting leg extending from one side of the first through hole. A length of the mounting leg is mostly equal to a length of the first through hole added to the second through hole due to the first mounting leg formed from the material cut from the first through hole and the second through hole. Thus the length of the first mounting leg would be increased for ensuring the electrical connector mounted on a PCB stably.
