DEVICE AND METHOD FOR THE REDUNDANT VOLTAGE SUPPLY OF SAFETY-RELEVANT SYSTEMS
The invention relates to a device and a method for the redundant voltage supply of safety-relevant systems, in particular, in motor vehicles. A failure of a voltage supply to safety-relevant systems with consequent switching to another voltage supply is recognised and also, even on a failure of one or two controllers for voltage switching, a default level, by means of which the voltage switching can then be taken over, is guaranteed. In this manner it can be guaranteed that for both a failure of a voltage supply for safety-relevant systems and for a failure in controllers, a voltage switching can nevertheless be carried out and thus the utility of safety-relevant systems significantly improved.
