A method for managing editable document storage is disclosed in the present invention, which includes the following steps: acquiring document information of the editable document, entry tag information of the document and entry tag information of each subdivision of the editable document; establishing the first type node according to the entry tag information of the document, establishing the third type nodes according to the entry tag information of each subdivision, establishing the second type nodes according to the number of the third type nodes, and establishing the fourth type nodes according to the document information corresponding to each subdivision; constructing a tree structure by indicating the first type node as a root node, and indicating the nodes of the second, third and fourth type as child nodes of the nodes of its previous types respectively; storing the tree structure; at the same time, a device for managing the editable document storage is also disclosed in the present invention, which enables a hierarchical storage of the document information in the tree structure, and enables faster operation of display, edit and search, thus improving the storage efficiency.
