Disclosed is a data management device comprising data management data which stipulates the location of real data based on data definition information representing a data structure of a data group, and a data access program which describes access functionality to the real data specified by the data structure based on the data definition information. The data management device references the data management data and specifies the location of the real data, runs the data access program, and accesses the real data in the data group.
