The present invention relates to strains of Photorhabdus temperata J7 which have excellent insecticidal activity and simultaneous antimicrobial activity. The strains of the present invention show excellent insecticidal activity against insect pests and antimicrobial activity against pathogens, which lead to preparation of microbial formulations with the strains or culture media thereof as active ingredients.
