TRANSPARENT COMPOSITE MATERIAL AND A PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR

The present invention relates to a transparent composite material of which the transparency can be preserved across a wide temperature range by immersing a glass composition (glass fibres) in an inorganic-organic mixed (hybrid) resin. The present invention also relates to a production method for the transparent composite material. According to embodiments in the specification, the transparent composite material comprises: the glass fibres; and the inorganic-organic mixed resin, which incorporates an inorganic cluster and an organic cluster. Here, the inorganic cluster is a Si-O-Si cluster or a Si-O-M cluster, where M may be a metal element.
