Stable oil suspensions are described that have enhanced bioavailability and contain lipophilic nutrients uniformly dispersed in a solid hydrophilic carrier and suspended in an oil medium. A method for making nanolipidic particle (NLP) carriers having ethanol passenger loaded within said nanolipidic particles , comprising the steps of:(a) providing a precursor solution, said precursor solution prepared by solubilizing phospholipids in a first quantity of ethanol solvent, adding a quantity of water to form a turbid suspension then adding a second quantity of ethanol solvent to produce an optically-clear shelf-stable precursor solution;(b) diluting said precursor solution with an ethanol solvent to produce a solvent-diluted precursor solution;(c) forming, through said diluting of said precursor, an unloaded nanolipidic particle (NLP) as a lipid-based vesicle that varies in size as it becomes loaded with a passenger solution;(d) dissolving an ethanol-containing substance having an ethanol content of 0.2%-50.0% by volume into an aqueous solvent to produce an aqueous-ethanol monophase which is a passenger solution; and(e) mixing said nanolipidic particle (NLP) formed in step (c) from the solvent-diluted precursor solution in step (b) with said aqueous-ethanol monophase passenger solution produced in step (d), wherein said nanolipidic particles (NLP) become loaded with the ethanol-containing substance from said aqueous-ethanol monophase passenger solution as a passenger loaded within the nanolipidic particle (NLP) yielding ethanol-loaded ...
