A massage sock is provided having a stretchable fabric and a plurality of massage elements attached to the bottom of the foot of said sock, where the massage elements are located at discrete locations corresponding to reflexology body parts. 1. A garment for a human lower extremity with variable elasticity in the toe, heel and body of the garment is provided. A band of decreased elasticity is incorporated into the body of the sock extending from the toe area to the proximal end of the garment. A novel method for applying the sock includes twisting the garment, which results in providing targeted neuromuscular stimulation by the band to the location on the human lower extremity that the user positions the band over, thus improving alignment, gait, balance, circulation, and decreasing swelling and injury. Twisting of the garment also selectively increases a level of compression applied by the garment at said location relative to a level of pressure applied at adjacent locations. The bootie is suitable for a range of sizes and shoe shapes. The bootie may shrink to fit, or, alternatively, be stretched to fit, an asymmetrical last having a desired size to form a shoe insert. A bootie having a seamless extensible film eliminates the need to have multiple sizes of shoe inserts correlating to particular shoe sizes. In embodiments where the polyurethane film is seamless and continuous, the shoe insert eliminates the need for a waterproof seam tape, which is conventionally used to make shoe inserts waterproof. A method of making an article of apparel , the method comprising:bonding an encapsulated insulation panel to a first fabric layer with an adhesive film, the encapsulated insulation panel comprising a plurality of insulation sections arranged in a spaced apart configuration, the insulation sections encapsulated between a first polymeric film and second polymeric film, and the adhesive film comprising a plurality of openings corresponding to the exterior shapes of the plurality of insulation sections;coupling the encapsulated insulation panel to a second fabric layer with an adhesive tape, the adhesive tape being disposed over an outer perimeter of the encapsulated insulation panel, thereby forming a multilayer fabric; andforming an article of apparel comprising the multilayer fabric.2. The technology described herein relates to breathable, vented, and insulating garments. More particularly, the technology described herein relates to garments with chambers to retain an insulating fill material. Openings along seams between the insulating chambers may achieve evaporative moisture or air transfer from the inside (proximal to the body of a wearer) of the garment to the outside environment. In an aspect, the openings along the seams are offset with interior openings, wherein the interior openings are connected to the exterior openings by a passage between garment layers. 1. A vented garment comprising an interior panel comprising a weather-resistant material and having a plurality of interior openings; andan exterior panel comprising a weather-resistant material and having a plurality of exterior openings, the exterior panel being attached to the interior panel at a location that causes individual exterior openings not to overlap with individual interior openings.2. The vented garment of claim 1 , wherein the exterior panel and the interior panel comprise a fabric/textile that weighs 89 g/m2 or less.3. The vented garment of claim 1 , further comprisinga chamber defined by a middle panel and the exterior panel, the middle panel located between the interior panel and the exterior panel; anda thermally-insulating fill material contained within the chamber.4.
