A method of manufacturing an encased underwire assembly for attachment to one or more components of a brassiere , the encased underwire assembly including a fabric layer and an underwire , comprising:creating a fabric enclosure having a folded side and first and second open ends by bringing together opposite side edges of the fabric layer and fastening the opposite side edges to one another substantially along a length thereof;inserting the underwire into the first open end of the fabric enclosure and continuing to pass the underwire through the fabric enclosure until a first end and a second end of the underwire are completely housed within the fabric enclosure; andsealing the first and second open ends of the fabric enclosure such that the underwire is encased within the fabric enclosure.2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the opposite side edges of the fabric layer are fastened together by stitching.3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the opposite side edges of the fabric layer are fastened together by adhesive.4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the opposite side edges of the fabric layer are fastened together by ultrasonic welding.5. The method of claim 1 , wherein sealing the first and second open ends of the fabric enclosure creates first and second extension ends extending outwardly from the first and second sealed ends of the fabric enclosure respectively.6. Disclosed is an algorithmic measurement data tool, method and system of tools used to standardize bra cup sizing, that can be useful to women, surgeons, and bra manufacturers to provide consistency and realistic expectations of breast and standardize bra cup sizes. The method utilizes measurement of the breast hemicircumference, used in conjunction with a standardized scale developed according to measurement results obtained from over 5000 patients, to accurately determine the woman's cup size. Tools, such as a slide rule, a software program, and 3D imaging may also be used, establishing the breast hemicircumference, to determine the proper bra size. The tool documents and algorithmically compares documented hemicircumference measurements to actual reported cup sizes and manufacturers. This tool, method and system is particularly useful for breast surgery patients, providing a standardized bra cup measurement of the patient's current size and a more accurate estimation of what her post-operative result may be. 1. A breast support garment is configured with adjustable straps, cups, and/or other components in order to facilitate modification of the appearance of the bust. Modifying the length of certain straps causes the cups to move upwards/downwards and/or inwards/outwards with respect to the center of the breast support garment. Shoulder straps or other portions of the breast support garment may pass through guide loops and/or couple to the breast cups or garment shell to permit adjustment. The location of each breast cup may be independently adjusted.

Designing shapewear for special occasion garments with low cut necklines and back lines can be especially challenging. The challenge lies in constructing a garment that effectively shapes the wearer while simultaneously eliminating significant amounts of material from the chest and/or back region. Disclosed herein are shaping garments designed to be worn underneath garments with low cut back lines. The shaping garment includes a space in the back shaping region on its rear side, such that the shaping garment is not visible beneath an ultra low-back special occasion garment. A removable back adjuster can be used to bridge the space to provide additional shaping support when ultra low-back mode is not required by the special occasion garment. 1.
