Для достижения технического результата предложен защитный вкладыш перчатки пожарного, встраиваемый внутрь многослойной перчатки (1) между слоем термической защиты (7) и гигиеническим слоем (6), прилегающим к ладони руки. Защитный вкладыш (2) выполнен с двумя слоями (3) с возможностью образования между ними пространства, заполняемого в рабочем положении воздухом. При этом на одном из слоев (3) вкладыша закреплены пружины (4) из материала с памятью формы, обеспечивающего удлинение пружин при достижении температуры пружины точки трансформации формы ее материала для воздействия на противоположный слой защитного вкладыша и создания пространства. Пружины (4) имеют прямоугольную форму и возможность свободного перемещения при растяжении и сжатии в процессе трансформации, а также имеют форму плоского прямоугольника в изотермических условиях. A durable athletic glove with an enhanced range of motion is provided. The glove comprises a palm-side portion and a back portion connected to form four finger sheaths, a thumb sheath, and an opening capable of receiving a human hand. One or more rounded, strain-relieving cutouts are located on the palm portion at a location corresponding to the area of a user's hand where two adjacent fingers connect with the palm. A strain-relieving finger gusset connects each cutout to the finger sheaths and palm-side portion. A thumb gusset extends from the back portion, between the thumb sheath and index finger sheath, and to the palm-side portion. The strain-relieving cutouts and strain-relieving gussets distribute force applied where finger sheaths connect to minimize glove failure. The cutouts and gussets allow an increased range of motion and stretchability for the user.

A method of fabricating a temperature resistant and fluid impermeable protective glove having front and back panels joined by at least one seam. During manufacture, the glove is dipped into a first thin liquid to coat the exterior surface of the glove. The first liquid penetrates through gaps in the seam and seals those gaps as it solidifies. The first liquid coated glove is then dipped into a second thicker liquid to coat the entire exterior surface including the sealed seam. A third coating may be applied to the interior surface of the glove prior to joining the front and back panels together. The glove may also include an interior liner and an exterior protective member for added comfort and protection.

A glove including a four sided reinforcement patch overlying a palm cover panel is disclosed. The patch may include a convex top edge, a concave thumb edge, a convex bottom edge, and a lateral edge opposite the concave thumb edge. The patch may be secured to the palm cover by perimetric stitching and several additional lines of stitching between the convex top edge and the convex bottom edge of the palm reinforcement patch. The additional lines of stitching may be parallel, spaced apart from one another, and arranged to track natural creases of the palm. The glove and patch may be of leather, and may include ventilation holes in the patch and fingers of the glove. The palm sheath may have a slit to facilitate size adjustment, and a closure tab for securing the palm sheath at a selected adjustment by a hook and loop fastener.

An athletic glove is disclosed having a high-grip surface on the palm side of the glove. The high-grip surface is formed from a panel of high-adherence material and comprises an embossed pattern that is configured to provide a high-grip surface while maintaining high tactile feedback or “feel” of the item being grasped, while maintaining maximum flexibility in the hand so as to not impede the wearer's ability to conform their hand to the intended shape when varying their grip on the item being grasped. The high-grip or high-adherence surface is formed of a high friction flexible polymer, such as silicone. To further aid in providing a high-grip configuration that maintains maximum tactile feedback and flexibility for the wearer, the embossed pattern provided on the palm side of the glove employs separate, thin (preferably about 0.35 mm in thickness) pads that are separated from one another by a small distance to maximize flexibility of the high-grip surface and to provide moisture flow channels along the palm surface of the glove. The top side of the glove (i.e., the side opposite the palm) is preferably formed of a stretchable fabric for comfort of the wearer. 1.
