The present invention relates to a glove, in particular a sports glove, having a finger part comprising individual fingers and a mitten part attached to the back of the hand of the glove that can be drawn over the finger part. The object of the present invention is to design such a glove, so that the glove can be used in a wide range of temperatures and weather conditions, without reducing the wearing comfort of the glove with or without the mitten part drawn over. MITTEN(MITT) STRUCTURE

A universal mitten structure to be worn on the hand for various activities or reasons. A durable athletic glove with an enhanced range of motion is provided. The glove comprises a palm-side portion and a back portion connected to form four finger sheaths, a thumb sheath, and an opening capable of receiving a human hand. One or more rounded, strain-relieving cutouts are located on the palm portion at a location corresponding to the area of a user's hand where two adjacent fingers connect with the palm. A strain-relieving finger gusset connects each cutout to the finger sheaths and palm-side portion. A thumb gusset extends from the back portion, between the thumb sheath and index finger sheath, and to the palm-side portion. The strain-relieving cutouts and strain-relieving gussets distribute force applied where finger sheaths connect to minimize glove failure. The cutouts and gussets allow an increased range of motion and stretchability for the user.

Method of manufacturing a protective glove

A method of fabricating a temperature resistant and fluid impermeable protective glove having front and back panels joined by at least one seam. During manufacture, the glove is dipped into a first thin liquid to coat the exterior surface of the glove. The first liquid penetrates through gaps in the seam and seals those gaps as it solidifies. The first liquid coated glove is then dipped into a second thicker liquid to coat the entire exterior surface including the sealed seam. A third coating may be applied to the interior surface of the glove prior to joining the front and back panels together. The glove may also include an interior liner and an exterior protective member for added comfort and protection.

A glove provides high palm shear force and reduced finger shear force when pulling elongated articles such as a rope, a rod, and the like. A high shear material is applied to a glove palm and a low shear material is applied to inner glove finger surfaces. The fingers are still used to grasp the elongated article, but the shear pulling force on the fingers is reduced and the shear pulling force on the palm is increased. In one embodiment, the high shear material on the palm is a silicone material and the low shear material on the inner finger surfaces is a ballistic material. 1. Provided is a glove which has good adhesiveness to a rubber or resin coating material and excellent durability and further fits a hand well enabling good work efficiency. The glove is knitted from a covered yarn obtained by winding a sheath yarn around a core yarn and at least a part of the surface thereof is coated with a rubber or resin coating material, wherein the sheath yarn is a crimped yarn made of a high strength fiber having, as a property of a raw yarn, a tensile strength of 1.75 N/tex or more as measured according to JIS L 1013 8.5, and the crimped yarn simultaneously satisfies the following (1) to (3): (1) a degree of bulkiness of 40 cm/g or more as measured according to JIS L 1013 8.16 A method after hot water treatment at 90° C. for 20 minutes, (2) a bulk compression modulus of 80% or more as measured according to the same method, and (3) a shrinkage/elongation ratio of 20% or more as measured according to JIS L 1013 8.11 A method. 1. A 3D hand-shaped glove includes a performance-enhancing layer laminated to a fabric glove shell. A flat, solid laminate preform can be prepared with printed graphics, fabric layers, oriented films, dense and/or concentrated fillers, and other features. The 3D hand-shaped glove shell is placed on a 3D laminating form, and the preform is laminated thereto while preserving the 3D shape. In embodiments, the laminating form includes opposing flat surfaces, and a platen or roller press is used. In other embodiments, a bladder or vacuum bag press is used to laminate the preform to a curved or otherwise shaped surface of the laminating form. The present disclosure relates to a glove with both flock-lined and unlined interior surfaces The glove generally comprises a hand region including a palm portion and a dorsal portion; a thumb region and four individual digit regions projecting away from one end of the hand region; and a cuff region extending outwardly from another end of the hand region opposing to the thumb region and the four individual digit regions. The cuff region terminates to a terminal end defining an opening for insertion of a user hand therein. Preferably, the hand region comprises flock lining on at least the interior surface of the palm portion or one or more selected areas on the interior surface of the palm portion. The patch may include a convex top edge, a concave thumb edge, a convex bottom edge, and a lateral edge opposite the concave thumb edge. The patch may be secured to the palm cover by perimetric stitching and several additional lines of stitching between the convex top edge and the convex bottom edge of the palm reinforcement patch. The additional lines of stitching may be parallel, spaced apart from one another, and arranged to track natural creases of the palm. The glove and patch may be of leather, and may include ventilation holes in the patch and fingers of the glove. An athletic glove is disclosed having a high-grip surface on the palm side of the glove. The high-grip surface is formed from a panel of high-adherence material and comprises an embossed pattern that is configured to provide a high-grip surface while maintaining high tactile feedback or “feel” of the item being grasped, while maintaining maximum flexibility in the hand so as to not impede the wearer's ability to conform their hand to the intended shape when varying their grip on the item being grasped. The high-grip or high-adherence surface is formed of a high friction flexible polymer, such as silicone.
