In a first aspect, a method of manufacturing an impact resistant textile is provided in which a heat curable composition for forming a polyurethane is vacuum moulded and heated until partially cured before being pressed onto the fabric such that it joins before being fully cured. The trigger finger sleeve has a protective pad extending along a proximal back side thereof, and an unprotected distal portion extending from a distal end of the protective pad to a distal end of the trigger finger sleeve. A conductive tab is positioned on one or more sleeves for use in operating a touch screen while wearing the glove. The conductive tab can be provided on only one sleeve, such as the middle .0 finger sleeve. Flame resistant padding is provided along a back side of the glove.
