A cloth assembly for making a protective pad for sports includes a plurality of supporting fibers extending between and supporting first and second knitted cloths, providing an elastic air-permeable cloth. A conformable garment may fit snugly against, and may exert pressure against, skin in a region of a user's body. The garment may house multiple sensors that touch the user's skin. Each sensor may exposed to the user's skin through a hole in an inner surface of the garment. The garment may include elongated channels. Flexible, stretchable wiring may pass through a hollow central region of each channel. This wiring may provide electrical power to the sensors, and may enable wired communication between the sensors and a main hub. Each sensor may include an integrated chip and may be encapsulated in a waterproof material. Each sensor may output electrical signals that encode digital data and that are transmitted, via the wiring, to a main hub housed in the garment. Garment Fastening Systems, Devices and Methods

New garment-fastening techniques are provided. In some embodiments, a new form of adjustable hair tie is provided. In some such embodiments, a new form of scrunchie is provided. In some embodiments, the new form of scrunchie includes widely-variable, user-adjustable tension, elastic cushioning disposed on or about a contact area with a user's hair, and a smooth (e.g., silk) surface. In some embodiments, the contact area surrounds and defines a central hair-gripping void with a user-variable size, and includes a substantially flattened support and profile. In some embodiments, a new form of waistband, wristband, or other clothing-fastening band of material is provided. In some such embodiments, a new form of garment enhancement device, incorporating a unique pattern of alignment- and grip-enhancing sub-elements, is provided on or about such a band, which improves garment positioning, and provides a non-stick hold on a user's body.

Method of manufacturing and application of body smoothing knitted underwear capable of being used as outerwear

The present invention provides a method of manufacturing and an application of body smoothing knitted underwear capable of being used as an outerwear. The method includes the following steps: raw material preparation, knitting, dyeing, setting, cutting and sewing, bonding, ironing and finishing. The method can be realized by using the existing combined cylinder knitting device. Through the innovation of raw materials and processes, the underwear produced is soft, comfortable, breathable and warm, and has modest elasticity and the body smoothing function, which can tighten the skin. It is beautiful and elegant, and suitable for outside wearing as well.

Swimwear

The present invention relates to a swimsuit that is made of a stretchable fabric and covers at least a portion of the thighs and the hips when worn, wherein two or more band-like tightening portions are arranged so as to extend in the body length direction from each of the left and right hips to the corresponding thigh such that the tightening portions intersect each other, and the intersection of the two or more band-like tightening portions is located between the top of the hip and proximal ⅓ of the hamstrings. Thus, a swimsuit is provided that can stabilize the posture in water and support the movements of the hamstrings.

A wearable arm airfoil garment for reducing the cyclist aerodynamic drag. Moisture control garment

A moisture control garment formed of a material that has moisture wicking (hydrophobic) properties joined to another material that has moisture absorbing (hydrophilic) properties. Various different embodiments of headbands are disclosed, each having a light apparatus and, in particular, a removable light apparatus that is rechargeable through a USB connection. The embodiments each has a grommet that accommodates the passing of a portion of the light apparatus therethrough for frictional fit therewith such that the light apparatus is retained in place by the frictional fit with the grommet and light is projected by the light apparatus outwardly from the grommet when the light apparatus is turned on. Posture performance garment

Various embodiments are described herein for a garment for improving an individual's posture when the individual wears the garment. The garment may comprise front and rear garment portions to cover at least a front portion and a rear portion respectively of the individual's torso. The garment also includes an adjustable set of straps that are adjustable from a rest position to a tensioned position and are collectively disposed over shoulder regions and under armpit regions of the front and rear garment portions. When the individual wears the garment and adjusts the straps to the tensioned position, the straps exert a downward retraction pulling force on the individual's shoulders and a backward pulling force on the individual's chest region thereby improving the individual's posture.

One aspect of the invention may be characterized as a shirt configured to counteract detrimental upper body movement. The shirt has a base layer, a plurality of inelastic bands, and a load distribution portion. The plurality of inelastic bands are coupled to the base layer, and include a first cross-connecting band, a second cross-connecting band, a third cross-connecting band, and a fourth cross-connecting band. The load distribution portion is also coupled to the base layer, and anchors ends of the first, second, third, and fourth cross-connecting bands. Further, the first, second, third, and fourth cross-connecting bands and the load distribution portion are configured to limit internal rotation and anterior tilting of the scapula when the shirt is worn by a user.

Activewear with waistband pocket

Provided is activewear with one or more waistband pockets. More particularly, athletic garments such as pants comprising one or more waistband pocket are included. The athletic garments include a body portion comprising fabric with an upper edge terminating as a 360° waistline and waistband composed of at least four pieces of fabric. A first and second piece of fabric define a first pocket on the waistband and a third and fourth piece of fabric define a second pocket on the waistband. Further, 360° of the waistline is attached to a bottom edge of the waistband. The first pocket and second pocket each include at least one opening to provide access to that pocket. Additionally, waistbands composed of at least six pieces of fabric are described as well as methods of manufacturing waistbands.

RESISTANCE GARMENTS

Resistance garments are disclosed. In some embodiments, the resistance garments may include a body portion, first and second leg portions, and an elastic strap assembly secured to the body portion and the first and second leg portions. A one-piece garment for use in physical exercise that appears to be three separate pieces of clothing and permits movement without requiring the user to adjust the fit of the garment as a result of the user's movement. The top of the torso piece is affixed to a bra and the bottom of the torso piece is affixed to a waistband which is in turn affixed to a pant, in each case to assist with avoiding the need to adjust the garment during exercise or other movement while maintaining coverage of the abdomen and the rest of the torso. The user can put on or take the garment off with ease similar to that of a one-piece swimsuit. The garment does not require the use of uncomfortable protrusive fasteners and avoids the need for the skin-tight or excessively loose appearance of typical one-piece exercise garments.

Movement compensation for sensor-equipped athletic garments

An athletic garment includes connective segments that compensate for motion of an athlete wearing the athletic garment. Right and left connective segments couple right and left arm segments of the garment to a torso segment, respectively. Thus, the connective segments may overlay the armpit areas of the athlete. The connective segments are composed of an elastic material such that as the athlete raises the arms of the athlete, there is minimal or no shifting of the torso segment. Further, the garment includes sensors that contact the skin of the athlete and generate physiological data such as activation levels of the athlete's muscles. Due to the movement compensation provided by the connective segments, sensors located on the torso segment may not shift as much while the athlete is performing exercises, which can allow the sensors to generate more reliable and accurate physiological data.

A compressible material is provided for use with athletic equipment and apparel for enhancing the effects of physical exercise for a person.
