An ambulatory aid is revealed. The ambulatory aid includes a hollow main rod and a hollow support pole connected with each other, and a cushion unit therebetween. The main rod, the hollow support and the cushion unit all have insertion holes, aligned with each other. By insertion pins inserted into the insertion holes, the main rod, the hollow support and the cushion unit are assembled with each other. The structure of the assembly of the main rod, the hollow support and the cushion unit is more firm and tighter. When the ambulatory aid is pressed by a larger pressure, the assembly will not come loose and move around and the unstable walking stick makes the users fall down due to a loss of support.

The drawbar includes a first end coupled to the actuator lever and a second end operatively coupled to the latching mechanism. Devices and systems are provided that comprise a reaching apparatus removably coupled with a mobility device such that an individual can couple, uncouple, and/or use the reaching apparatus while concurrently using the mobility device for stability and/or mobility assistance. Related devices and systems further comprise a sheath coupled with the mobility device, the sheath configured to slidably receive at least part of the reaching apparatus therein. Furthermore, methods for manufacturing such devices and systems are provided, providing both retrofit options as well as methods for manufacturing specific mobility and/or stability devices comprising the reaching apparatus hereof. 1. A stability system comprising:a mobility device having at least one shaft, the mobility device configured to provide stability to an individual; anda reaching apparatus configured to grip and release an object;wherein the reaching apparatus is coupled with the mobility device such that the individual can couple and uncouple the reaching apparatus from the mobility device while concurrently using the mobility device for stability.2. A locking mechanism is adapted for a foldable pole including a pole body and an elastic drawstring disposed therein, and the pole body being composed of a plurality of pole sections foldably connected with each other through the locking mechanism. The locking mechanism includes a connector and a connecting sleeve. The connecting sleeve is disposed on one end of adjacent two ends of two pole sections and the connector is disposed on another end of adjacent two ends of two pole sections. The connecting sleeve has a through hole for receiving the connector. An elastic buckle for locking the connector is disposed on the connecting sleeve. One end of the elastic buckle passes through the connecting sleeve and is inserted into the clamping groove of the connector. The locking sleeve is pressable against the elastic buckle so as to lock or unlock the connecting sleeve with the connector. 1.
