Shelf support bracket

The shelf support bracket comprises a spine member having a series of equispaced slots 3, each slot having a space which is slightly greater than the spacing between opposed major surfaces of an elongate shelf to be received edgewise in the slots, a wedging disc 4 is arranged to project from the spine member such that upon insertion of the shelf into the slot, the disc engages a major face of the shelf so as to securely wedge the shelf in the slot. A piece of furniture comprises a plurality of plastic shells 12a disposed in an outer wooden frame 10, the spaces between the shells and frame being filled by injecting an expandable material 15 such as polyurethane through openings in the walls of the outer frame 10. Flanges 14 on the shells abut against the rims of the frame and against cross members 11 or the edges of flangeless shells are inserted into U or L shaped holding members secured to the outer shell (Figs. 4, 5, 6). An easy to assemble and disassemble shelving system comprises at least two upright panels 1, joining pieces 2 to join and lock the upright panels to each other and a plurality of plane shelves 3, 3a, where means for mounting the shelves comprises two vertical grooves 4a, 4b extending from end to end along the length of the panel and displaced inwards from the ends of the upright panel; branching grooves 5a, 5b lie at right angles to the vertical grooves such that all the branching grooves extend an equal length and where the branching grooves are recessed to the same depth as the respective vertical grooves. The shelves have two support pegs (6a 6b figure 4) at their ends adapted to fit into the vertical grooves so as to be movable along the vertical grooves until the support pegs can be slipped into one of the branching grooves at the desired height level. Modular closet system

A modular closet system provides reconfigurable closet capacity and an appearance of a customized closet in any of the configurations. The system includes at least two sideframes cooperating to define a space therebetween creating a closet module when assembled. A series of through holes on an inside surface of the sideframes are used to attach a variety of storage devices from the system's sides, which may be re-positioned by user design. When assembled, any of the fasteners used to attach the storage devices are hidden from a front view perspective of the system. Once assembled, the perimeter of the storage devices cooperates with the frames to block the view of the fasteners. Some embodiments may extend closet capacity by including a hanging rod system that connects two frame modules together via the through hole system on respective closet modules, which when assembled also blocks the view of any fasteners.
