In another aspect, the present invention concerns improvements in and relating to hygienic bedding and particularly in and relating to hygienic bedding covers. The present invention has the advantage that it provides a one-way valve incorporated into the pillow cover as well as a microbial filter membrane, to allow air to exhaust quickly from the pillow through the valve, bypassing the membrane. Air re-entering the pillow may only pass through the microbial filter membrane. Thus, air re-entering the pillow does so at slower speed, but has the advantage that forcing the re-entering air to pass through the micorbial filter allows only sterile air to enter the pillow. The present invention also provides a means for sealing hygienic bedding such as a mattress in a waterproof covering while enabling visual inspection.

The present invention discloses a C-shaped or an O-shaped travel pillow intended to be worn fastened around the user's neck haying a thinner base collar that is cushioned but stiff and completely closeable and overlapping around the person's neck, attached to a shorter softer raised and further cushion or pillow fixed to the top side of the base collar that can be adjusted to accommodate the person's coin as needed. The top of the peripheral walls of the base are attached to a raised cushion or pillow that is fuller and softer than the base. The base or collar is also cushioned but considerably stiffer and with longer ends than the top pillow, allowing the base collar of the invention to be fitted around the person's neck and closed completely underneath the person's chin to hold the person's neck immobile. Furthermore, the pillow top raised cushion is thicker than the sides, providing even more cushioning, support and stability for the person's head by easily adapting, to the shape of the headrest, seat or chair or the movement thereof. 1. A travel pillow comprising: a C-shaped or an O-shaped thinner cushioned and slightly flexible but stiff closable collar having a top which is a thicker softer padded or cushioned portion with an outer peripheral surface , forming a circular or C shape that when worn forms a round donut or O shape around the person's neck. This invention relates to pillows, specifically to a pillow that provides support for a person's head, back in treating snoring and obstructive sleep apnea syndrome. This invention is constructed with firm polyurethane foam, ultimately allowing an adequate support of the head and neck with three different heights and angles to support the head and neck in what is generally described as a “Fowler's Position” where the person is sitting straight up or leaning slightly back. The invention achieves the Fowler's position by having the person lying on the bed in a supine position using the pillow which has angles to rest the head on steps that allow the head and neck to be position at heights from 3, 6 or 11.5 inches. The head will rest on a “step” that will vary from 40 degrees, 34 degrees or 11.3 degrees. The person using the pillow will determine the proper combination of pillow height and angle that works best for positioning the user's head for comfort and snoring reduction or elimination.

The pillow may include an outer shell that reverses to pen the pillow core to mesh netting or a secondary inner shell case (i.e., the removable core). The outer shell case may be made of a plurality of layers, including a backing layer positioned between an external layer and an internal layer. As a reversible case, the embodiment has no removable inner core, but a reversible core. The reversible embodiment is much easier and less expensive to manufacture and wash. The backing layer may comprise a foam material. As an embodiment with a removable core, the internal layer and the inner shell case may comprise an open mesh material. As a reversible case, the core pulls out and is stuffed back inside, while being held together by mesh netting. As a removable core with an out case, the inner shell case may be removed or reinserted into the outer shell case. A plurality of foam pieces may be disposed inside the inner shell case. 1.
