The present invention teaches a bedside table with a disposable hygienic tray which has thereon multiple layers of film. Each layer of film in turn has adhesive, or anti-bacterial compounds, or bacterial detection compounds, or combinations thereof. A beverage cooling device for the rapid cooling of the content of canned or bottle beverages is provided. The beverage cooling device is a handheld device that easily engages the top of a can or beverage. The beverage cooling device includes a housing with side walls for mounting a motor. A container engagement member is attached to the motor along the bottom side of the housing such that it is able to freely rotate within the side walls of the housing. The container engagement member is attached to the drive shaft of the motor such that it is able to rotate when the motor is actuated. The container engagement member includes, at its center, a central gripping member for gripping the top of containers with long narrow necks. The container engagement member further includes peripheral gripping members for engaging containers having tops of larger circumferences, such aluminum beverage containers of varying sizes. The motor is actuated by an on/off switch. The motor rotates the container engagement member when actuated thus enabling the rotation of bottles or containers when engaged by the container engagement member of the beverage cooling device. Rapid rotation of the beverage container in contact with a chilling substance such as ice or ice water results in a very rapid chilling of the contents of the beverage container.

A universal cover for covering all types of beverage containers and an associated carrying case is disclosed. When placed over any beverage container, the universal cover disclosed uses decorative weights made with acrylic plastic gems, crystals or metal, to keep the cover secured in place as well as for keeping it well stretched and snugly placed over the rim of a beverage container. The universal cover also includes a central opening for inserting a straw or a sipping device there-through. The universal beverage cover offers the functionality of creating a cover for containers where typically no lid or cover typically exists as is the case for non-portable beverage containers such as wine glasses, beer or juice mugs, and other crystal-ware used at a restaurant, banquet hall, or another indoor setting. The universal cover disclosed provides a level of protection against pathogens and other contaminants while maintaining the necessary decor and formality of the setting. Embodiments of the invention provide the additional functionality of maintaining beverage temperature for longer periods. A retention device for a vessel has a bottom portion affixed to a serving vessel with a first magnet contained therein, and a holder having a recess formed into a top surface and having a second magnet at a bottom of the recess, wherein the recess is formed in a size, shape and depth for receiving and releasably retaining the bottom portion through mutual attracting of the first and second magnets. In optional embodiments, the bottom portion may comprise a coaster, and the vessel may comprise a beverage tumbler. In other embodiments, the vessel may include a beverage glass, a mug, a stein, a plate, a cup or a bowl, and the holder's magnetic recesses may be formed in a tray, a table, a bar, a counter top, a shelf, a platter, a chair arm, or a cutting board. 1. A lid is provided which permits a user to drink from a beverage can suspended within the interior of a disposable coffee cup. The user can thereby drink from the beverage can without the user's lips touching the can surface. Also it appears to an observer that the user is drinking from the disposable cup, not the beverage can, and also the beverage can is insulated to keep it cold. According to one embodiment, the lid has a standard outer circumference which engages and seals with the rim of the disposable cup. It also has an inner circular attachment ring attached to the lower inner surface of the lid which has tabs to grasp the rim of the beverage can and form an upper chamber through which the beverage can flow from the beverage can opening to the lid's drinking aperture. A gasket seals the circumference of the circular ring against the beer can. Thus the beverage can is suspended in the interior of the coffee cup and the beverage flows from the beverage can through the lid aperture when the cup is tipped.

The disposable insulator includes a sleeve including an insulating material to provide thermal insulation to the exterior of the cup, the sleeve having a top edge, a bottom edge, an inner surface, and an outer surface having a thickness therebetween, the sleeve being tapered from the top edge to the bottom edge and configured to surround at least a portion of the cup, and at least one finger pad made of the insulating material having a bottom edge, the finger pad being separable from the remainder of the sleeve and movable from a first position to a second position, in the first position, the bottom edge of the finger pad being proximate to the bottom edge of the sleeve, and in the second position, the finger pad being separated from at least a portion of the remainder of the sleeve and movable relative to the remainder of the sleeve, in the second position the finger pad being foldable relative to the sleeve with the bottom edge of the finger pad positionable proximate to the top edge of the sleeve, wherein, when in the second position, the folding of the finger pad increases the thickness of the insulation material present at the finger pad to create an area of increased insulation on the sleeve to provide additional thermal insulation to a portion of the exterior of the cup. 1. A multiple-piece adjustable beverage holder, capable of accommodating numerous types and quantities of beverages simultaneously with ground penetration capability or insertion into a pedestal. The purpose of this invention is to provide the user a stable hands-free, lightweight, portable, product that keeps their beverage closer to the user at various heights. The receptacles accept cans, bottles, cups, inter alia with or without insulating devices (coolies, cuzzies, coozies, etc.) of various sizes. It can be modified to meet height requirements and ground conditions. When ground hardness does not permit insertion, any shaft can be inserted into the Pedestal to provide one the desired height. Once inserted into the ground or the Pedestal the product is self-supporting. The preferred manufacturing process is 3D printing/additive manufacturing due the size, cost, ease of use, and the ability to integrate logos, names, or other customized information on the invention.
