LONG SERVICE LIFE SCENT DISPERSING MAT APPARATUS

Номер: CA0002594481A1

A long life scent dis0persing mat apparatus uses an outer housing with apertures appointed to disperse a scent or fragrance. The fragrance is provided in a fragrant body which is a springy spongy rubber or polymeric sponge soaked with essential oils that have high vapor pressure at ambient temperatures. The fragrant body is inserted into an inner pouch which has small apertures and the stagnant air within the inner pouch attains saturation of fragrance vapor, thereby stopping further evaporation of the essential oils. When the scent-dispersing mat is stepped on, the inner pouch releases the saturated fragrant vapor into the interior of the outer housing and it is released to room air through apertures provided in the outer housing. When force on the mat is released, the fragrant body recovers its original shape and the inner pouch draws fresh make up air and essential oils volatilize.

To install tiles using the connectors, a first tile is placed on the floor and a connector is positioned so that the adhesive layer faces upward and does not contact the floor. The connector is typically positioned so that only a portion of the adhesive layer adheres to the underside of the tile, leaving the remainder of the connector extending from the underside of the tile. Tiles are then positioned adjacent the first tile so that a portion of the connector adheres to the adjacent tiles. In this way, the connectors span adjacent tile edges. The tiles are assembled on a underlying flooring surface without the need to attach them to the floor surface.

The carpet tile of claim 1 , wherein the reinforcing scrim layer comprises a plurality of fibers and wherein the plurality of fibers comprise at least one of: glass fibers or polymer fibers.3. The carpet tile of claim 2 , wherein the plurality of fibers comprise polymer fibers comprising sheathed polyester core fibers.4. The carpet tile of claim 2 , wherein the plurality of fibers comprise glass fibers having a nonirritating coating.5. The carpet tile of claim 4 , wherein the nonirritating coating comprises polyethylene.6. The carpet ...

A work platform has a top member with a surface sized to receive a user's feet thereon while standing and a bottom member coupled to the top member. The bottom member has a width and length generally equal to the width and length of the top member. The bottom member has a curved surface generally at the longitudinal center of the work platform defined at least partially by a radius of curvature of between about 100 mm and about 850 mm. The curved surface induces instability under a user standing on the top member to thereby facilitate active muscle engagement in the user's legs while standing on the work platform. 1. (canceled)2. A platform that supports a user while at a standing workstation , comprising:a top member having a length greater than a width and configured for a user to stand upon; anda bottom member removably coupled to the top member, the bottom member having a length greater than a width, the bottom member configured to allow multi-axial movement of the platform and having a continuous contact surface that extends laterally from a center of the bottom member to side edges that define a functional tilt limit of the platform in the widthwise direction of the platform, the contact surface including a convex bulb portion generally at a center of the bottom member having a first radius of curvature and a convex surface having a second radius of curvature that extends from the convex bulb portion to the side edges such that the bottom member continuously and gradually contacts a support surface on which the platform rests during pivoting of the platform in the widthwise direction, wherein the platform induces multi-axial movement by the user while standing on the work platform at a standing workstation.3. The platform of claim 2 , wherein the side edges that define the functional tilt limit of the bottom surface in the widthwise direction are located laterally inward of an outer edge of the platform and vertically downward from a top edge of the bottom ...
