Curtain System

A curtain system with improved safety, ease of mounting, ease of dismounting, ease of cleaning, and range of installation is provided herein. The curtain system foregoes the use of a handing rod, and instead is operable to use one or more of a plurality of mounting hardware, including hook and loop fasteners, magnets, and suction mounts. The mounting hardware are selected based on the site of installation of the curtain system, and do not require destructive installation as required for retrofitting a surface with hanging brackets via nails, screws, or adhesive substances such as glues or tapes. 1. A curtain system , comprising:a curtain body comprising a length of fabric, the curtain bodying including a face and a rear in which:the face includes a mounting bracket positioned on an upper portion of the curtain body defining a pocket, the pocket including an opening facing downward from the upper portion; andthe rear includes mounting hardware incorporated with the upper portion of the curtain body for mounting the curtain body to a surface.2. The curtain system of claim 1 , further comprising:a valence, positioned in front of the face of the curtain body, wherein a length of the valence is less than the length of fabric of the curtain body and wherein a width of the valence is at least as wide as a width of the curtain body.3. The curtain system of claim 1 , wherein:the valence is connected to the curtain body by a seam running the width of the curtain body; andthe pocket is defined by the valence, the curtain body, and the seam.4. INTEGRATED CURTAIN SYSTEM AND METHOD

A curtain system may include a track system configured to be mounted to an interior structure of a vehicle. The track system may include three or more track sections oriented in at least two different directions. Each track section may be configured to support at least one curtain suspended from and slidable along the track sections. The track system may include at least one junction fitting interconnecting three or more track sections and allowing movement of a curtain from one of the three or more track sections to either one of two or more other track sections of the three or more track sections. In this regard, the junction fitting and the track sections may define different curtain paths for the curtain. 1. Containment Curtains As Well As Systems And Apparatuses Including Same

Room dividers are provided having an edge at least four feet from a room floor and at least twenty inches from a ceiling, an open or perforated space above and adjacent the edge along at least a majority portion of the room divider, and a moveable shield configured such that fluid from one side of the room divider is substantially blocked from passing through the open/perforated space when the shield is aligned with the space. Curtains are provided which include fastener/s arranged along a screen and strut/s coupled to the fastener/s, wherein the screen extends at least 3 inches above the fastener/s and the strut/s extend at least 24 inches below the fastener/s. Other curtains include struts extending along less than an entire length of the screen but at least between a point approximately level with at least one of the fastener/s to at least 24 inches below the fastener/s.

A curtain assembly for hanging a shortened, lighter curtain from existing curtain ceiling tracks. The assembly uses adjustable height hangers to connect the commercially available track to existing curtain systems and a lightweight disposable curtain to hang therefrom. The present invention describes a window covering which is useful for securing to objects having windows without using permanent attachment devices. The window covering preferably contains a plurality of magnets arranged along the upper end and along the lower end. The magnets are arranged so that they are coupleable or securable to a metal part of a window itself or a metal surface which houses the window as well as one or more additional magnets positioned within the window covering. The window covering further comprises one or more non-magnetic surface adapters constructed and arranged to secure to at least one magnet along a first surface and to a second, non-magnetic surface along a second surface. The window covering provides at least one contact point for securing to at least one non-magnetic surface.

A number of mounting systems are provided for mounting a sheet element with respect to a rail element. In one example, the mounting system includes an elongate mounting tape having a first longitudinal edge portion and a second longitudinal edge portion spaced by a width spacing from the first longitudinal edge portion. The first longitudinal edge portion is configured for being affixed to the sheet element. The second longitudinal edge portion includes a plurality of rail-engaging elements in spaced relationship along the second longitudinal edge portion, the rail-engaging elements being configured for engaging with the rail element and for enabling selective longitudinal movement between the mounting tape and the rail element. The mounting tape is elastically deformable in a width direction, at least when the mounting tape is affixed to the flexible sheet.

Privacy curtain assembly with cleanable panels

A privacy curtain assembly includes a main curtain portion. The main curtain portion includes a first side, a second side, and oppositely disposed leading edges located between the first and second sides. The privacy curtain assembly also includes at least one cleanable, wipable panel that is permanently affixed to one of the leading edges of the main curtain portion. A curtain assembly for hanging a shortened, lighter curtain from existing curtain ceiling tracks. The assembly uses adjustable height hangers to connect the commercially available track to existing curtain systems and a lightweight disposable curtain to hang therefrom.
