The accelerometer then measures the particular frequency of vibration and transmits this information to a centralized monitoring unit (CMU). Based on the measured frequency, the CMU is able to know that the same patient wearing/holding the device is also the same patient using the data acquisition device. The vibration source may revolve through a number of predetermined frequencies (as determined on its own or instructed via the CMU) or simply generate a random frequency.

Methods and apparatus for the recovery, visualization and enhancement of latent fingerprints using Low Pressure Dye Vapor Deposition (LPDVD) are described. The LPDVD methods of the present invention provide for fine control over the deposition of a precursor in combination with a fluorescent dye, combination of dyes or a premixed dry solid compound of the precursor and dyestuffs, to make the latent fingerprints visible. The LPDVD process makes use of a heated carrier gas to dilute and carry the vapors into a vacuum chamber where they condense onto the exposed surfaces of the article being developed. The LPDVD process can be used to develop latent fingerprints on a wide variety of substrates, including metal, plastic, glass and thermal paper and has been shown to perform as well or better than conventional fingerprint development techniques on these surfaces.

Next, the incomplete physiological signal is analyzed according to a machine learning model to identify an identity corresponding to the subject, and then output identity information. In order to objectively grasp a stress state of a user and to prevent postpartum depression, biological gas information is acquired via a network, where the biological gas information indicates a concentration of dimethyl adipate of the user and is obtained by a sensor that detects dimethyl adipate released from a skin surface of the user. From a memory storing information including an upper limit of a normal range of the concentration of dimethyl adipate per unit period, the information indicating the upper limit of the normal range is read out. When a frequency in the unit period with which the concentration of dimethyl adipate of the user exceeds the upper limit of the normal range is determined to have an increasing tendency based on the biological gas information obtained during a pregnancy period of the user, the information related to stress of the user is output to an information terminal of the user. 1. A method for providing information in an information processing system , the method comprising:acquiring, via a network, biological gas information representing a concentration of dimethyl adipate of a user detected with a sensor for detecting dimethyl adipate released from a skin surface of the user;obtaining reference information representing an upper limit of a normal range of the concentration of dimethyl adipate per unit period of time, using a memory storing the reference information representing the upper limit of the normal range; andoutputting information related to stress of the user to an information terminal after it is determined that a frequency with which the concentration of the dimethyl adipate of the user per unit period of time is more than the upper limit of the normal range tends to increase, based on the biological gas information acquired in a pregnancy period of the user.2.
