A method of manufacturing a permanent prosthesis for attachment to a dental implant installed in a mouth of a patient includes scanning a patient specific temporary prosthesis (PSTP) to obtain scan data. A cradle, assembly, system and method for installing a prosthesis at a surgical site. The cradle temporarily engages the prosthesis and holds it in the correct orientation and position adjacent the surgical site. Dental implants, dental abutments, and dental systems are disclosed. A dental implant can include an implant body having a longitudinal axis, a coronal end, and an apical end. An internal bore can be provided within the implant body, and can have a coronal end, adjacent to the coronal end of the implant body, and an apical end. The internal bore can include a first internally facing surface, extending from the coronal end of the internal bore towards the apical end of the internal bore, at least a portion of which tapers inwardly towards the apical end of the internal bore. The internal bore can further include an internally threaded portion positioned between an apical end of the first internally facing surface and the apical end of the internal bore. A dental abutment can be configured to engage with the dental implant. 1. An ankylos attachment (AA) comprising a transitional adapter at coronal end for serving as an impression coping, temporary/permanent attachment. A threaded retentive shank (TRS) comprises a bolt which is designed to insert through the AA into the dental implant. The new design of the AAC is compelling because it can reduce cost, improve patient comfort and reduce clinical chair time/treatment time. In addition, AAC can be utilized to facilitate CAD/CAM technique which can largely shorten the period of fabrication of dental restoration. As a result, the final restoration can be finished and delivered in a couple of hours comparing to six to twelve weeks when the restoration is done in traditional way.

An anchor to be screwed into a hole with high primary stability and eventually even higher secondary stability. A right hand thread form winds with continuous turns along the body of the anchor. A trailing flank of the thread form is back-angled. The central region includes an array of flutes having left-hand helical twist. Each flute is composed of distinct flute segments. A condensing ramp is formed along the crest of the thread form between two circumferentially—adjacent flute segments. Each condensing ramp is pitched about 20° so as to apply a localized compressive strain to the interior surface of the host bone with a densifying action when the anchor is screwed into the prepared hole. The condensing ramps create induced stress and super-activated zones in the bone directly adjacent to healing chambers formed by the flute segments. The healing chambers draw bone to naturally encourage and promote healing.
