A traction ring for use in a penile implant procedure can include a plurality of elastic sutures. Each elastic suture can have an elastic body with an attachment loop at one end and an adhesive pad at the opposed end. The attachment loop allows for positioning of the elastic suture at any of a plurality of available attachment grooves located about a perimeter of the traction ring. The adhesive pad is generally attached to penis proximate the penis tip. Adhesive pad can be bonded to the penis with a suitable skin adhesive. The skin adhesive can be contained within a reservoir on the adhesive pad. Alternatively, the adhesive pad can be separated from the elastic body. A removal solvent can be applied to dissolve or otherwise break down the skin adhesive following completion of an implant procedure.

A limb positioner apparatus includes a stabilizing plate and a movable positioning plate for arrangement about a joint or fracture. The movable plate is movable with respect to the stabilizing plate about three mutually perpendicular planes which intersect at a point corresponding to a center of rotation of the joint or fracture. The positioning plate may also be movable with respect to the stabilizing plate along at least one linear direction. At least some of the available degrees of freedom are selectively lockable. The apparatus is illustrated in the context of the foot and ankle. Methods of use are disclosed.

An elevation device for use in the performance of CPR includes a base, an upper support coupled with the base that elevates an individual's heart, shoulders, and head relative to horizontal, an adjustment mechanism coupled with the upper support that adjusts elevation of the upper support, a chest compression device; and a controller system. The controller primes the circulatory system by causing the chest compression device to perform chest compressions while the individual's heart, shoulders, and head are supported by the upper support at a first elevation position for a period of time. The controller causes the adjustment mechanism to adjust the elevation of the upper support to a second elevation position after the period of time has elapsed while performing chest compressions. The controller causes the chest compression device to perform chest compressions on the individual while the individual's heart, shoulders, and head are at the second elevation position. 1. A head fixation device and method of stabilizing a head of a patient includes a base, one or more clamp members, and an actuator connected with each of the one or more clamp members. The base supports the head of the patient resting thereon. Systems, devices, and methods for position monitoring and motion compensation

A motion compensation system includes a plurality of RF transmitters, a plurality of direction of arrival sensors, and a positioning table which together are usable to compensate for intrafraction motion of a patient during a medical procedure. The positioning table may be a secondary table arranged next to or above a primary table such as a radiotherapy couch, allowing for repositioning of part of patient such as the head and neck relative to a remainder of the body. The motion compensation system employs a direction of arrival sensor that includes rotating antenna elements in a configuration that improves the ease and accuracy of signal processing and analysis to identify the position of an RF transmitter affixed to a patient. The repositioning table has six degrees of freedom and is safe for use in imaging and radiation intensive environments.
