BLADDER IRRIGATION TOOL

Номер: CA3111095C
Принадлежит: KIRK DAVID, ELROD JEREMY, KIRK, DAVID, ELROD, JEREMY

A tool is attachable to a bladder irrigation catheter. A body supports multiple fluid pathways between each of the catheter, a supply of irrigation fluid and a waste fluid collector. A syringe or other pressure and vacuum applicator accesses the pathways and powers irrigation flow. A supply port and intake port are connected to a supply pathway leading to the applicator. Similarly, a drain port and discharge port are connected to a drain pathway leading to the applicator. The supply pathway and drain pathway can be selectively blocked so that action of the applicator only drives supply or drain irrigation action. Check valves are located to provide proper fluid flow direction. Bypasses between the supply port and intake port and between the drain port and discharge port can be activated to bypass the supply pathway and drain pathway and allow for gravity flow bladder irrigation through the tool.

BALLOON IRRIGATION AND CLEANING SYSTEM FOR INTERIOR WALLS OF BODY CAVITIES

Номер: US2014221980A1
Автор: RONTAL MICHAEL
Принадлежит:

A method and apparatus for cleansing the interior surfaces of body cavities employs a balloon catheter adopted to be inserted into a cavity through its ostium with the balloon in collapsed condition. An input flow tube for a cleansing and/or medicating fluid passes through a central passage in the balloon. When the balloon is inflated to establish a narrow passage between the balloon and the cavity walls, a pressurized flow of the fluid is pumped out the distal end of the input flow tube through the passage, parallel to the cavity walls, where it scours the inner wall of the cavity, removing debris as it flows out of the ostium. The fluid flow is urged toward a turbulent condition by attachments to the outer wall of the balloon.

Devices, systems, and methods for treatment of an eye alter aspiration flow from the eye in response to an occlusion of the aspiration conduit pathway. Where aspiration is drawn from the eye using a volumetric pump, the pump can be reversed so as to induce fluid reflux from the aspiration conduit pathway into the eye to help clear the occlusion. The pump may vary the reverse flow in response to sensed aspiration pressure or the like, and the reverse flow may be halted before the pressure within the aspiration conduit pathway adjacent the eye significantly exceeds the irrigation fluid pressure and/or the pressure within the eye. Reflux may alternatively be generated by modulating a vent valve disposed between an irrigation conduit pathway and the aspiration conduit pathway. 112-. (canceled)13.
